Signs

I spotted this sign out of the corner of my eye the other day and I thought it odd that I had never seen it before. It is in the driveway of an apartment building just down the street from me. I must have driven by it a million times.

This sign is steel and is embossed just a license plate is. I wonder if these were made in prisons also. I have come across a lot of old signs like these over the years; Beware Of Dog, No Trespassing, etc. I like old stuff like this, especially when it is still in use. How cool would it be to walk into a hardware store and see the selection of these commonly used signs all in embossed steel. I guess most people don't care about stuff like this....I do.

Need A New TV?

I found this cool old sign the other day at the Swap and had to but it. I knew that it did something as there was a cord hanging out of it but really had no idea.When I got it home and plugged it in, I was glad that I bought it!

My oldest boy is 3 years old and wears this shirt. He rules! He was wearing it the other day and it got me to thinking about All In The Family. What a great show! I found the opening scene with Archie and Edith singing the theme song on YouTube and was surprised at how poignant the song still is today. Why the fuck can't people pull their own weight anymore??
