Pictures Don't Do It Justice

I found this great light house at an estate sale last week and was lucky enough to meet the daughter of the man that made it. He was a WWII vet with 30 plus years in the Navy. He was a Master Machinist Mate and he had hand built this out of aluminum. The detail is amazing. It is motorized and the light actually spins and lights up. I would love to go on and on about the detail and about how truly cool this thing is but you really have to see it in person to get it. Pictures just don't do it justice

Long Beach Antique Mall

For those of you that are local or will be traveling through Long Beach, I thought that I would post a picture of my newly expanded antique mall space. It's ever changing and I try to keep it filled with all the crap you've seen here on the blog. If your interested check it out at the Long Beach Antique Mall. It's located at 3100 E. Pacific Coast Hwy.

Fancy Pants

My hats off to the hero that chose this pair of turquoise Bates MX leathers. He must have looked bitchen blazing across the desert.

The funny thing about swap meet finds is that normally there is no history with the item. As is usually the case I have no idea where these have been or what they went through over the last 40 years. What I do know is that I found them and brought them here to my warehouse which is exactly 3 minutes from where these leathers were made.
